ABOUT BORKUM
Borkum is the western most and with barely 31 square kilometers the biggest of the seven inhabited East Frisian Islands. With about 30 kilometers distance from the German coastline it is the only island constantly and entirely surrounded by the sea and therefore offers a particularly clean North Sea Climate. With endless sandy beaches, diverse cultural attractions and numerous cure institutions, like for instance an officially recognized North Sea health resort, Borkum offers everything one needs for a varied and recreational everyday life.
