Area Managers (f/m)
As an area manager you act as an interface between our store managers and the purchasing department. You support intensively the shops in your area of responsibility and likewise you are responsible for the product range design and merchandise presentation in the shops. You take on managerial leadership in your region and ensure that sales and development goals are met. Your varied duties also include personnel management and development as well as the organization of new openings and campaigns. You have close and continuous contact with our headquarters in Halle (Westphalia) and report to the Head of Retail Operations.
Main job tasks:
- Intensive support of the shops in your region
- Product range design and merchandise presentation in the stores
- Managerial leadership for the region
- Meeting sales and earnings targets
- Personnel management and development
- Organization of new openings and campaigns
- Reporting to Head of Retail Operations
Your qualifications:
- Completed apprenticeship in the retail trade or commercial apprenticeship
- Previous experience gained in a similar position
- Knowledge of market and industry
- Management experience
- Solid knowledge in business operations (turnover, stock turnover-rate, inventory etc.)
- Profound MS Office skills and experience with an ERP system
- Organisational talent
- Language skills
- High grade of flexibility and commitment
