GERRY WEBER International AG has vertically positioned itself in recent years and covers the complete value chain from the collection idea to the point of sale. Today the verticalisation is fully integrated into the day-to-day business: Collections have been streamlined, processes optimised and competences have been purposefully bundled. At the headquarters in Halle/Westphalia a creativity centre has been built for the employees adapted to the changed processes therefore optimizing the cooperation through shorter ways and creating synergies by an open and creative atmosphere.
One part and a particular focus of the vertical integration strategy forms an even closer cooperation with wholesale partners by vertical partnership concepts.
Thanks to its own distribution system, the HOUSES OF GERRY WEBER and EDP connection to the majority of its partners, the company is provided with valuable information about the success of the collections in the shop.
It is a win-win situation: The entire cycle of product development is coordinated better, trends can be seized faster and the sales areas can respond better to needs.
